CMMC Solution Comparison: Prices, Bundles, and What Is Missing
Defense contractors usually buy Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) tools in pieces: a secure email and file product, a privileged access product, a compliance tracking tool, and consulting to tie them together. This page compares those pieces, by published price, to the Analog Informatics Corporation (AIC) CMMC kit, which includes them in one product.
Why defense contractors and MSPs choose AIC
- Lower cost. Lower Year 1 cost than every full bundle we priced, on every term.
- Startup fees waived for 2026. On every CMMC package ordered on or before December 31, 2026.
- Deploy your way. On your own hardware (on-premises), or in your Microsoft Azure subscription, ready to configure in under 5 minutes.
- You stay in control. You own the infrastructure, the encryption keys, and the audit records. AIC is software you run, not a cloud service that holds your Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
- One integrated kit. Vault, privileged sessions, endpoint elevation, configuration compliance on machines that connect to the enclave, CUI email and file sharing, training and attestation, and the Assessment Binder in one product. Evidence from those surfaces writes into the same binder.
- Upgrade in place. Free plan to Level 1 to Level 2 to Level 3, or AIC Privileged Access to Level 2, on the same AIC Server. Records carry over. You do not re-enter the roster.
- Competitive Switch Credit. AIC credits the unused prepaid remainder of a qualifying Competitor contract against Year 1 of the AIC package, up to twelve months of that package. Prepay discounts do not apply. Partners do not earn software commissions on the switch; they bill services, and later-year software compensation follows the Fee Schedule when the Partner of Record registers the renewal. Microsoft 365 GCC, GCC High, and Azure Government fees do not qualify. See Competitive Switch Credit.
- Works alongside everyday Microsoft 365. Commercial mail and Teams can stay. CUI mail and privileged access run in AIC. You do not need a GCC High migration to start Level 2.
- MSP and partner friendly. Partner discounts on paid sales and on renewals the Partner of Record registers, a higher discount on registered deals, and unlimited free support for partners. Competitive Switch Credit orders do not generate partner commissions; partners bill implementation and ongoing services. MSPs keep the services and are expected to bill more than four times the AIC subscription. See Partner program comparison.
- Low-risk, experienced vendor. Our developers and support engineers have built standard security software for prime contractors, Defense Industrial Base (DIB) suppliers, and the Intelligence Community for more than 30 years. Building cybersecurity software since 1993.
- Support from the people who build it. Unlimited support requests at no charge for customers and partners.
- You guide the roadmap. Features we do not have yet are marked Planned and built in the order customers ask for them.

Year 1 for 25 users at Level 2
Each competing stack uses the lowest published option for each missing piece: privileged access for 5 administrators at the CyberArk Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) catalog price [1], and FutureFeed for compliance tracking [2].
| Stack | Year 1 estimate | AIC Level 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Microsoft 365 GCC High Business Premium with security add-on, low-end migration, privileged access, compliance tracking [1][2][3][4] | $42,762 | $19,800 |
| PreVeil at the published PreVeil Pass rate, privileged access, compliance tracking [1][2][5] | $54,702 (extrapolated) | $19,800 |
| Cuick Trac enclave, 25 users [6] | $88,500 | $19,800 |
| Exostar Managed Microsoft 365, privileged access, compliance tracking [1][2][7] | $24,702 | $19,800 |
| Vanta Essentials and privileged access, no CUI email or files [1][8] | $21,506 | $19,800 |
AIC Level 2 is also lower on a yearly prepay ($16,830). The Exostar and Vanta stacks also leave out configuration compliance with repair, endpoint elevation, and training and attestation, which AIC Level 2 includes. See the Exostar comparison and the Vanta comparison.
Need a smaller first invoice this year? AIC Level 2 Essentials (AIC-CMMC-L2-ESS) is compliance tracking plus privileged access for 5 administrators, $5,988 Year 1 against $21,506 for the Vanta stack [1][8]. Upgrade in place to full Level 2 when you want the CUI email server, file sharing, and training on the same server.
Need tracking only to start? AIC Level 2 compliance tracking (AIC-CMMC-L2-TRACK) is $1,428 for Year 1, against $2,196 for FutureFeed Innovator with the Level 2 framework [2]. Upgrade in place to Essentials or Level 2. See the FutureFeed comparison.

CMMC compliance software comparison: cheapest CMMC options
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the cheapest way to meet CMMC Level 2?
The lowest cost depends on how many systems hold CUI. Among the bundles we priced, AIC Level 2 at $19,800 for Year 1 in 2026, or $16,830 on a yearly prepay, was the lowest on every term, with 25 systems and 25 users included. For compliance tracking alone, AIC Level 2 compliance tracking is $1,428 for Year 1.
Do I have to move to GCC High?
No product decides that for you. Many contractors keep Microsoft 365 and add an enclave for CUI. AIC runs beside Microsoft 365 GCC, GCC High, or commercial tenants, so you do not have to migrate email to start.
I already paid another vendor for this year. Do I have to pay twice?
No. AIC credits the unused prepaid remainder of a qualifying Competitor contract against Year 1 of the AIC package, up to twelve months of that package. Prepay discounts do not apply. Microsoft 365 GCC, GCC High, and Azure Government fees stay on the Microsoft invoice. See Competitive Switch Credit.
Can my MSP run AIC for me?
Yes. A Managed Service Provider (MSP) administers AIC inside your environment. Partners get discounts on paid sales and on renewals they register, except Competitive Switch Credit orders, and unlimited free support.
What if AIC does not have a feature I need?
