What each product does
Microsoft GCC High is an office and email tenant. It does not include a privileged credential vault, brokered privileged sessions, configuration compliance on connecting machines, training attestation, or a CMMC Assessment Binder. AIC CMMC Level 2 is that kit, including a CUI email server you run in your Azure subscription or on your hardware. You do not migrate the company to GCC High to start CMMC.
How AIC wins this deal
Order AIC CMMC Level 2. Deploy it in your Azure subscription (ready to configure in under 5 minutes) or on premises. Turn on the included CUI email server. Everyday commercial Microsoft 365 can stay for non-CUI work. Connecting laptops, local admin, privileged sessions, and training attestations write into the Assessment Binder.
A prime that already required a GCC High tenant is not a reason to skip AIC. Run Level 2 beside that tenant, or start on AIC Privileged Access and upgrade in place to Level 2. AIC does not replace Entra or Exchange Online as the company office suite.
Year 1 in 2026: $19,800 against $42,762 for a GCC High stack that still adds privileged access, a tracker, and a low-end migration [2][6][9][10].
Upgrade path. Start with Free, then Level 2 compliance tracking ($119 per month), Level 2 Essentials ($499 per month), Level 2 ($1,650 per month), and Level 3. Level 1 and AIC Privileged Access ($89 per privileged user per month; five-user minimum) can also upgrade in place to Level 2. Records carry over. Evidence from connecting machines, training and attestation, privileged sessions, Incident Response, and the Assessment Binder stays in one product. Session Recording is not included in Free, Tracking, Essentials, Level 1, or Level 2; it is included only in Level 3 with isolated Jump.
Switch credit. AIC does not buy out Microsoft 365 GCC, GCC High, or Azure Government. Keep that tenant. If a separate privileged-access or tracking product on top of the tenant is prepaid, AIC credits that unused prepaid remainder against Year 1 of AIC Privileged Access or Level 2. See Competitive Switch Credit.
